CHILD AND ADOLESCENT THERAPY SERVICE
We provide children and adolescents with short to medium term mental health treatment for existing or developing emotional and psychological problems. If you feel these problems are causing significant issues in your everyday life or that of someone you care for, we may be able to help.
Support is also provided to families, or to others having responsibility for the referred child, such as foster carers. You can access the service via bulk billing from Medicare when you have a mental health plan from your GP and there is no Medicare gap.

EMERGENCY RELIEF
If you are struggling to make ends meet, we may be able to assist. We provide a range of Emergency and Food Relief services for all eligible clients in the greater Bunbury area, Busselton, and in the Shires of Harvey and Collie.

FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAMS
Accordwest provide a range of counselling, mediation, and family/parenting support services. If you require support from experienced, qualified staff, our Intake and Referral Officers will ensure you are linked with the most appropriate service to meet your need. Current programs include, the Family and Relationship Service (children, adults or families in the South West), Reconnect (young people 12-18 and family members in the South West); and the Children and Parenting Support Service (families with dependent children, based in or around Manjimup).
Home visiting services can be arranged where you are unable to attend our nearest office.

DRUG AND ALCOHOL SERVICE
Accordwest provide counselling and support to young people and young adults aged 12-35 who have alcohol or drug issues, or are affected by someone close to them who is using.

FINANCIAL COUNSELLING
If you are struggling financially and/or need help to negotiate debts, AccordWest has a Registered Financial Counsellor that may be able to assist. Feel free to make an appointment to get advice about your options.

HOUSING & HOMELESSNESS SERVICES
As the leading homelessness services provider in the South West, we provide a range of Supported Crisis (Youth Only), Transitional programs for individuals, couples and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. We also provide outreach support to those in private rentals to maintain their current tenancies. The goal of the supported accommodation programs is to ensure people are able to gain and develop life skills to not only attain, but sustain long term stable public, community and private housing accommodation options. Once in contact with us, an assessment will be conducted and possible support pathways developed with the individual, family or couple.
Accordwest has Social Housing options for people on the Department of Communities, Housing waitlist available in Bunbury and Margaret River.

OUT OF HOME CARE
Accordwest provides a range of Out-of-Home Care Services for young people up to 18 years of age who are referred to us by the Department of Communities. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment, be that in our formal care arrangements or with our dedicated Foster and Therapeutic Carers. We strongly believe that children who cannot live at home deserve the best possible care we can provide, and to experience the support children need to grow develop and heal.

REINTEGRATION AND REHABILITATION SERVICES
Accordwest assists people exiting Bunbury Regional Prison, or returning to the South West from other prisons, to reintegrate into their families/communities. We can assist with seeking accommodation, gaining Identification, looking for a job, linking in with appropriate support services to address issues, and meeting parole requirements. You can self-refer, or be referred while in prison, and we will start work on your support plan prior to your release.
We also deliver a Drug and Alcohol program in Bunbury Regional Prison, work with Relationships Australia to deliver a Family and Domestic Violence program, and mentoring service is provided by Breakaway Aboriginal Corporation.
We also provide a limited number of transitional properties for eligible referrals.

TENANT ADVICE AND EDUCATION SERVICE
Problems with your landlord, facing eviction? We are here to assist all tenants in public or private housing. We also provide community education programs in relation to tenancy rights and responsibilities. Please contact us and we’ll assess your situation.
